The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission has cleared Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho of graft claims and recommended the closure of his file.<br />Joho had been accused alongside Mohammed Abdullah Zubedi and Abdulhakim Abdullah Zubedi of participating in the irregular allocation of Mwembe Tayari market in Mombasa County.<br />EACC stated that it lacked sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations.<br />The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will now review the file before stating its recommendations.
